Stephan Göb

Specialist for AI /AI on embedded hardware
In my role as a mechatronics engineer/researcher, I enjoy the combination of mechanical engineering, computer science and electronics. In the project, it's a delightful mix of broad knowledge, networking, learning, and growth that allows us to develop innovative solutions while deepening our expertise. Together, we are designing a pioneering product.

Stephan is currently working as an embedded AI expert in the GAIA-SAT project. He makes the AI small, powerful and energy efficient.
Stephan received his Master of Science in Mechatronics at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt. In addition to his engineering career, he completed an apprenticeship as a car mechanic. His interests lie in the optimization of neural networks for use on embedded devices and in everything related to mechatronics.
